Miyavi (1981) was born in Osaka Japan, to a Japanese mother and a Korean father. His parents got divorce when he was really young and his mom raised him by herself.

Miyavi, whose real name is miyaby, started playing the guitar when he was 15 years old. By the time he was 18 he joint a group call Dué le quartz which broke up in 2002

It wasn’t long before  Miyavi started his solo career which is very successful around the world. Miyavi music was rock at the beginning but he also experience with other kind of music such as metal, acoustic music,pop and even rap (did you ever heard Japanese rap? J)
