{February 13, 2008}   A LOVE song for Valentine Day

justgackt395.jpg                                       L O V E

just a small word, 4 letters, and so many songs was written about it. Although know one really know what love really mean.

one love song that i love is: love song by Gackt

The evening lights, coloring the nights busy avenues,
down the street brings back memories of you.

Now I am watching, as lovers pass me by,
finding your shadows, in the views of my eyes

Now I am here, all alone
Remembering the time we used to laugh together
in the fall of the cold
I still think of you,
Wondering if you feel the same

Save, your smile for me,
even although you cry for me
Remember me and love me always

Love, and smile for me,
Hold on to all that we had
remembering and love me again

I’m so depressed living , a quiet life now,
There is no one here, in which to hold hands,
or protect me from the cold
Feeling like this loneliness will tear me apart
I am waiting and looking for you voice
To get me out of the dark

Snowflakes fall like the tears that running down my face
I wanna hold you just one more time
I think of you night and day
Wondering if you feel the same

Being in the silence of the night
Fall into my arms and I’ll hold you so tight
My kiss will guide our missing hearts
and tell me you’ll love again

Save, your smile for me,
even although you cry for me
remember me and love me always

Love, and smile for me,
Hold on to all that we had
remembering and love me again

{January 29, 2008}   DJ sisen play my Favorite song!

One of the craziest club scenes is the Japanese scene and I’m not surprised. The Japanese seem to do the craziest things when it’s come to clothing, fashion and costumes. One of the leading people of this scene is DJ Sisen. His line of parties called Tokyo Dance Night. Lately this party line came out of Japan and was touring in Europe. DJ Sisen became very famous and has a lot of fans around the world, included me 😉  The music you hear at DJ SISEN’s parties is: ElectroCyber-Goth TranceNeo Dark Wave and more

I guess there isn’t much to write about a DJ, but I just wanted you know see what kind of people are clubbing in there. So I’ll just put some pictures and will strongly hope that one day I’ll go clubbing with Sisen.

The GazettE are not just another visual kei group, they are one of the best actually.

They’ve been around since 2002. Altough Some people say the GazettE are similar to Dir en grey, it’s not very true. Even that in the beginning of their career they sounded a little like Diro. Mostly because of the mixture of hard rock with happy beat, but they Quickly changed their style.

The members of the band are: Ruki, Uruha, Reita, Aoi and Yune. Later on when Yune decided to live the band he was replaced by Kai

Their first EP, which came out in 2003 was Cockayne Soup. Since then they came up with a lot of excellent  songs: Tokyo Shinjuu, Zakurogata No Yuuntsu, Chizuru and more.

There isn’t much to write about this amazing band, I advice you to take the time and listen to them, I know you’ll enjoy it.

{January 14, 2008}   Hizaki’s music and costumes

Hizaki Hizaki, (February 17th 1979), is a Japanese guitarist who also had a solo career. He belongs to a Visual Kei flow that is very popular in Japan. In fact Hizaki and Kamijo are two of the most important people in the Visual Kei scene.

Visual Key bands are similar to the western boys’ band. The only different between them is that the Visual Key bands use different costumes to create the group looks plus they make better music ^ _ ^.

Hizaki used to play in many bands such as Crack brain, Schwardix Marvally. but since he went solo in a project which he called HIZAKI grace project he writes the music and songs, plays the guitar, bass and keyboard .The only thing he does not do is to sing. He uses different singers from other bands that are doing the singing part for him.

He’s music style is something between speed metal, hard rock with influence of electronics classical music (crazy ha?).

In the last few years Hizaki, who also known for his feminine costumes, joined Sulfuric Acid, and later on started his own band with Kamijo, called Versailles

Songs: The Revenant Choir (by Versailles), eternal prayer, Philosopher, solitude.

Miyavi, whose real name is miyaby, started playing the guitar when he was 15 years old. By the time he was 18 he joint a group call Dué le quartz which broke up in 2002

It wasn’t long before  Miyavi started his solo career which is very successful around the world. Miyavi music was rock at the beginning but he also experience with other kind of music such as metal, acoustic music, pop and even rap (did you ever heard Japanese rap? J)

This blog is Music Reviewers, every week I’ll tell you about another band or singer you may or may not know

The first band I want to review is MALICE MIZER.

This great band was formed at 1992, in Osaka, Japan and was active until 2001.

Members of the group were: Klaha (vocalist), Mana (guitars/synthesizers), Közi (guitars/synthesizers), Yu~ki (bass), Gackt (vocalist) and Kami (drummer)

The band had a strong influence of a French and classical music. And later on a Gothic-Victorian influence.

They’re also known for their great concerts which combine historical costumes in them; a historical sets and even an angel coming down from above.

After the band was broken, Gackt started his own solo career and is now one of Japan’s top entertainers and TV personalities. Tetsu has subsequently taken part in a series of bands such as Zigzo and Mega 8 Ball and has released one solo album.Klaha started a solo career as well in December 2002, but in the middle of 2004 it was announced that his fanclub would be closing down, Mana has formed his own solo project, Moi dix Mois, performing live concerts across Europe, Közi has joined Haruhiko Ash’s Industrial band Eve of Destiny and also has a solo project.

Recommended songs: Beast of Blood, Illuminati (known for his controversial and daring video clip) and Bel air.
